In 2024, PetroChem Canada is going in a new direction!
The event will move out of the business space and into the realm of operations and maintenance. As a way to encourage industry participation we are making the conference and expo free to attend this year.
The format this year is entirely new, with congruent streams of technical content, a Hands on Demo Zone and tons of added networking opportunities, all taking place in the exhibition hall.
"We invite the petrochemical industry to take advantage of this opportunity to network and share knowledge relating to the operations and maintenance of your facilities. Learn from industry experts who are addressing current business challenges such as AI, automation, changing regulations, new technology, shutdowns & turnarounds, aging facilities, and many more." - Ronald Bettin, PetroChem Canada Advisory Board Chair
PetroChem Canada Conference & Expo, hosted by Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership, returns June 18-19, 2024 to the
Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
600+ Attendees | 75 Exhibiting Companies | 55 Speakers
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS
PetroChem Canada brings together the petrochemical, chemical, emerging biochemical manufacturers together with their supply chain, academia, R&D and multiple levels of government to see new technologies, meet new suppliers, discuss operational challenges and network.
Let’s work together to become more globally competitive by further increasing our processing capacities across the country. Focusing on production optimization, modernizing plants, and expanding outputs, Canada can increase our competitive and the true value of our resources, create jobs; and we will embrace technologies to do it in an environmentally conscious and sustainable way.
The Sarnia-Lambton area represents Canada’s second largest cluster of companies in the petrochemical and refining sector and represents the largest industrial sector locally. It is home to many well-known multinational companies, including Air Products, CF Industries, ARLANXEO, Cabot, Exxon-Mobil (through its Canadian affiliate Imperial Oil), NOVA Chemicals, Plains Midstream, Praxair, Royal Dutch Shell, INEOS Styrolution, and Suncor.
Additionally, the Sarnia-Lambton Hybrid Chemistry Cluster is made up of more than thirty-five interrelated chemical facilities with processes ranging across the hybrid chemistry value chain, integrating the traditional hydrocarbon-based economy with the industrial bio-economy for the production of high-value products.
“Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance (SLIA) was pleased to participate in the PetroChem Canada Show that took place in Sarnia. The caliber of the speakers as well as the networking opportunities exceeded expectations. The exposure of companies and organizations participating in the show was tremendous. The event organizers did a wonderful job of showcasing Sarnia-Lambton and the value proposition the area brings to the Petrochemical sector. I look forward to next year's show, let's network to make it a world scale event.”
Michael Farmer, Chair of Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance
